  This is my seventh year working within schools in East Anglia. I worked at Ely College and then became the RE and SMSC co-ordinator for a free school, IES Breckland that opened in Suffolk. During my three years there I built up the department eventually leading to the school gaining the RE Quality mark with a silver grade. My particular focus was upon improving teacher’s understanding of exam technique and how to help students achieve accelerated progress. I also developed SMSC and British Values tracking and promotion of these around the school.

  I now work as a Teaching and Learning coach at Abbey College focusing particularly upon ‘growth mindset’ and how to help teachers to achieve this within the classroom. My passion is for helping students to engage with the wider world and understand how to reach their full potential within it.
