    I graduated from Durham University with a degree in Geography and later returned there to complete my PGCE. I moved to Cambridgeshire in 2009 and have worked at Hinchingbrooke School since then. During my time at the school I’ve completed my Masters in Education focusing on the use of self-assessment and change management. I became Second in Geography in 2012. In this role I have overhauled the KS3 Geography curriculum and led the introduction of numerous initiatives, including a Year 6 transition unit, the increased use of technology and the introduction of domestic and international field trips for KS3. I led the department’s Prince’s Teaching Institute accreditation and have since worked for the PTI as a schools’ programme consultant, enabling geography departments across a wide range of schools to develop and realise lasting improvements.
