  During my time at Abbey College I have completed a number of roles from Vocational Education Coordinator, Work Experience Coordinator to Assistant Head of Year 10/11.  As the curriculum has changed and the school has become an Academy the opportunities for professional development have increased and I now lead an excellent department that has continued to enjoy success year on year across KS4 and KS5.   A lot of my recent work has involved the merging of Business and IT so that we can continue to provide outstanding provision for all students.   I have completed a number of middle leader courses over the past 5 years and particularly enjoyed the Leading from the Middle course offered by the NCSL.  I enjoy the challenges and opportunities available at Abbey College as we work to maximise achievement for all by putting students first.
