    I have worked at St Peter’s School in Huntingdon for 25 years during which time I have undertaken a variety of curriculum and pastoral roles. In January 2013 the Music Department was awarded ‘Outstanding’ grades by OFSTED. I have introduced new qualifications in recent years to suit the needs of the school community. GCSE, BTEC and NCFE vocational courses are in operation at Level 2. BTEC and ‘A’ Level Music Technology are taught at Level 3.

    A few years ago I worked on the Key Stage 3 National Music Pilot where my research was focused upon assessment in Music. I subsequently designed a Music e–Markbook in Microsoft Excel to reduce the administrative burden of providing regular written feedback to every student at Key Stage 3.

    I am presently specialising in driving up standards at all levels through the use of Apple products such as iMac and iPad and a range of music and non—music - related apps.
