  I began teaching in 2004 and have had a broad and interesting teaching career to date, working both in the UK and in a British International School in Abu Dhabi teaching across the primary ages. In the past I have held a variety of middle leadership roles within a range of primary settings and I am currently in my fourth year as Deputy Headteacher in a local Academy. As well as leading English, my current role involves leading teaching and learning across school. This is a role which I passionately enjoy as I get to be hands on in the classroom with my colleagues, offering support and guidance whilst enabling them to learn from first hand experiences. My principal aim is to ensure that all pupils within our school experience quality first provision. I am excited to be part of the Discovery SLE team and look forward to working with you.
